Here’s the latest news on hirings, promotions and departures among environmental leaders.
Fisker Automotive: Electric car company executive chairman and founder Henrik Fisker (pictured) has resigned. The company says Fisker’s departure won’t affect the company’s pursuit of strategic partnerships and financing to support its low-emission hybrid electric powertrain technology. The company told Autocar that Fisker left the company because of “several major disagreements” with other executive managers about business strategy.
WRScompass: The environmental remediation and civil construction company has promoted Richard Santello to CEO and named F. Philip Handy chairman of the CG Leads board. Santello joined WRScompass as president in and in was also named chief operating officer. Handy, who has served on the WRScompass board since , is the CEO of Strategic Industries.
Sionix Corporation: The water treatment systems company has appointed today Joseph W. Autem as its chief financial officer. Autem is a founder of CFO Partners from its inception in September of where his clients included drilling companies and exploration and production companies in Texas and Oklahoma.
Interface: The carpet tile manufacturer has promoted Lindsay James to vice president of restorative enterprise. James previously was the company’s director of strategic sustainability.
Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark: The sustainability benchmark has appointed Elsbeth Quispel as its head of sustainability. Quispel joins GRESB from Jones Lang LaSalle, where she was head of sustainability.
GreenBlue: The sustainability nonprofit has appointed Katherine O’Dea as senior director, advisory services and innovation. O’Dea has worked at GreenBlue for the past six years as a senior fellow and director of advisory services.
Greentech Capital Advisors: The investment banking firm that focuses on sustainable infrastructure has hired David Dolezal, who joins the firm as a partner. Dolezal most recently worked as a managing director and Americas head of both the renewable energy & cleantech and software groups at UBS Investment Bank.
Earth: The recycling information company has added Ed Skernolis to its advisory board. Skernolis, an environmental consultant, most recently served as Keep America Beautiful’s senior vice president, recycling, for before retiring at the end of . He also spent years with EPA and yeas as Waste Management, Inc.’s director of government affairs.
Green Globe International: The parent company of sustainability certification and benchmarking programs company Green Globe has appointed Robert McCoy to its board of directors. McCoy formed Canyon Investments, based in Las Vegas, and currently is the company’s general manager.
